Most popular animes of all time

Animes were always present in Japan. But the world came to know of its influence only after few chosen animes broke out of the Japanese boundaries and were successful appeal to the world audience. "Akira" was the ambassador for the anime in the international industry in 1988. Japanese storytellers knew how to capture the attention of the viewers. After "Akira" there was flood of animes. Many of them were successful to get superior identification in comparisions to Hollywoods own animations like Mickey Mouse, Looney Tunes, G.I. Joe and stuffs.
In the year 1986 Akira Toriyama brought his creation "Dragonball Z". "Dragonball Z" was more than groundbreaking for the development of the anime in the western world. Main Juice in the animes are there characters and their presentation by the artists. "Pokemon", "Beyblade" were the second generation of the animes to the world which were able to capture the attention of the people. But there are many other animes which are better but could not exploit due to various reasons like language and etc. Here is a list of such animes
Spooky Kitaro
Cowboy Bebop
Ranma 1/2
Detective Conan
Slam Dunk

BlackJack
However the latest generations of the Anime have been very famous all around. Thanks to growing fan base. One of the names we must not miss out is "Naruto". Animes their genres to very wide range. Comedy, action, sports, romantic, dark, fantasy, Si-Fi, may be in every subject imagineable.

Naruto Sketches

Here are two of my sketches. I did 'em just today. Made it in very little time. But its funny. I haven't still got the perfect one. Everytime I do it a new version emerges. Naruto inspires me to draw sketches. The anime itself is preety cool.If you haven't you must try it. It's so observing. But there is a a world of gap between MANGA(Japanese comic) and anime. I often try to give my sketches a new spin. Please make sure to comment on my sketches. That will help.

My own blog

Subash was tired of going through the blogs all over the internet so I started my own blog. Basically its all about my own sketches and mangas, anime, comics and stuffs. Not about a particular one but like a mix box. I'll post my own sketches, ideas, and useful and interesting links and some tutorials. I myself am a learning artist. So through this blog I'll be teaching myself and may be make some dough.
There always has been a low profile dispute about the superiority between huge artists, storytellers, the American comic and Japanese Manga, Japanese animes and American style animations. But the judgments flies out in the space. None of the side agrees to lose to the other as both of the side continue to produce high quality entertainment. Very few people will understand that. I'll be covering both of the styles as far as I can.
My next post will feature some of my work so don't forget to check it out.
